From the front edge of my bench to Highway 53, east in Washburn County is a one-mile stretch of timber, with no buildings, or human beings in between. The land goes upward from the lake that's west of my shop, so there's a natural berm to the east of my bench. I can shoot 200 yards to the east, safely, and many of my customers sight in here before heading out west hunting. I gotta do something about mosquitoes though, as they are a real pain during certain times of the year. Fogging the area doesn't last very long, and I'm not sure I want to put up an enclosure to shoot from. Do I need to build a screened in building? I've tried some of those mosquito lanterns, but they could work better.
