Just picked the receivers and rail from being cerakoted. Color is Tungsten.
Pics were taken just only inside the garage. So apologize for not so clear.

It can be called BCM Jack Clone as it really looks alike.

But this build is dedicated to my 20 months boy, Jayden.
So i'll name it Noveske Jayden. :)

There will be a similiar build dedicated to his younger brother, Jonathan.
But it won't be anytime soon..

Looks like another healthy case of BRD went down in this thread bro lol. Nothing short of awesomeness here! Looks like the ultra premium version of the jack carbine. Awesome job building a rifle for your sons...and btw great excuse for the wifey!! :D I'm gonna have to use that one when my wife puts her foot down lol. Do you plan to test shoot this bad boy for your son and sight everything in? Hey I got the same dust cover (mine only engraved inside tho) for my infidel build which I put on the same N4 chainsaw upper...did you have any problems getting the dust cover to close? Mine would not close so I had to shave the little round knob down on the door cover until it would snap in properly. From the pics of yours it looks as tho you didn't have to do that. Bought it from eBay like you did so from the same place

Chainsaw upper looks good! I'm doing a Noveske build in a few weeks (got my gen 2 lower saving my $$) and I was debating between using their forged or billet upper. Thoughts after using the forged ?

Chainsaw is good only if you are cerakoting them as it will cover the blem marks. Some has a very little blem marks and some don't.
And for the uppers beside the forged one like mine, there are Noveske Vltor MUR or the Vltor MUR 1A. Not sure if they are billet though but they are sexy.
The forged upper is good but in my opinion, the Vltor MUR will match the Gen2 lower better.

    Great looking rifle!

How do you like the SopMod stock? It seems like sort of a cross between a no-frills milspec and a Magpul STR. To this point I haven't used anything but Magpul (MOE, STR, CTR, ACS) and the occasional no-frills PSA stock.

BTW- I'm building on a Noveske when some parts come in tomorrow. Won't be nearly as fancy as yours...more along the lines of an $1100 build. Will try to get pics up.

Their billet upper receiver has not been released yet. your current options are the standard forged receiver, or their MUR receiver. The MUR, while forged, is dimensionally equivalent to Vltor's original billet design. Therefore, your handguard choices will be limited if you go with the Noveske MUR. Noveske MUR is not the same as the Vltor MUR-1a, which is compatible with nearly all the handguards out there. The Geissele rail, like okdonk has, will not work with the Noveske MUR...unless you modify the receiver or handguard. If you get a Vltor MUR-1a, you will have no problem installing the Geissele rail.

Thx. I have been using STR on my other 4 rifles. They are great, real nice. But i would like to try something new but good. Had been using the B5 Bravo and i liked it. So i decided to try out the Enhanced Sopmod. It fits and snugs my buffer tube perfectly, no wiggles or sortever.
I always get the enhanced rubber butt pad .70 on my STRs. But both B5 Bravo and the Enhanced Sopmod have already thick rubber butt pads on them. So it's a big plus and not to mention this Sopmod is cheaper and lighter than the STR.

I was thinking MUR a1 (bolt assist and shell deflector) but thanks for the input.

Pics look great should run like a champ based on the parts/specs. Use it well!
