Well picked her up today for £460, I'm well pleased and impressed so far considering cost. The smudges on the finish are just caused by dry lubricant from my fingers, not worried as it protects the metal anyway.

Who says us Brits arnt allowed guns:D, well no I guess not without much hoop jumping:rolleyes:, and note the barrel is the 24" UK spec model to comply with that worthless law. Its also currently restricted to 2+1 although I can get authority to uprate it no probelms, and I will do soon, it just comes under my other license which involves much more beurocracy than the one I bought it with today.

Cheap but decent enough LED light,

Emtying the tube, push the lifter right in, pull bolt right back to release one round, repeat until tubes out.

Stock holder works nice, remember to push them right back so they will come out easy.

Some load the Rem1100 like this, works well and saves unlocking the lifter each time as you don’t have to hit the unlocking piece in the middle of the lifter with the following rounds.

Cant wait for a good day to take it out again, only put less than 50, 32g field loads through it so far, but with no probs :) .

Very nice looking shotgun. And the addition of the Extrema Ratio is a nice touch.

Glad you liked the pics!, yes the guns in the background are Hatsan Escorts sporting range. The cartirdges do look odd in the pics, and I got more of today's reloads (buck & slug). The yellow/oranage ones are just 32G No.4 birdshot (UK size), made by RC in Italy.

I forgot to mention the magazine cut-off witch located on the reciver where the bolt release usually is. This works well with the spare round holder in the stock.

I'm not happy with the slugs I loaded, they are by low recoil data and do not burn the powder fully, not to mention the 8 inch flame that leaves the ejection port on the last round hold open of the bolt. Functions fine though, even with that low pressure.

The '00' (11/0 Italian) buckshots are nickel plated and copper plated.

    VERY nice shotgun, sir!

However, if you would like to emigrate, here in the US, the Hatsun Escorts sell for £182 right now.

    Thanks!.

Hey, don't, just don't! :(. Rip-off Britain, you wouldn’t believe the cost of shooting stuff (this was a very cheap gun, for here).

I agree, but its amazing the difference in culture, as it is extremely rare for someone to suggest that openly on a forum or just in conversation in Britain. Its just not talked about even though the UK has extremely high burglary/home invasion rates (because the crims know that they have little to fear in doing so).

Good looking shotty and awesome pics! Great to see that people aren't giving up on their hobby even though you have very strict gun laws over there.
