I missed one of these last year, but S&W made a run of the 63-5s this summer and my dealer got one. As as alternate I was looking at a Ruger SP101 4" in 22lr, but now I'm glad I waited for the Smith. This revolver is suprisingly accurate and is much more than a plinker, it shoots as accurately as my K22. The action is silky smooth and the trigger much lighter than the Ruger SP101. The only mod I did was to put a set of Model 60 Pro Series wood grips on it and it is now perfect. Anyone considering buying a rimfire revolver should give these a look.

Beautiful gun. I've been wanting a rimfire wheelgun. Just don't have the money right now for any new guns. :(

    Someday.

Nice gun Mag. I bought this last summer and love the trigger, Too bad it also went down with the ship in the inlet where I had that boating accident :(

Yes there is a version with a 5" barrel, it's to bad S&W only makes one run of these a year.
