    Yes. Gas operated delayed recoil. The gas system keeps the slide from moving rearward until the bullet has left the barrel. Higher velocity. Barrel is fixed to frame like a Sig P232.

    I have heard they are extremely accurate due to the delayed blowback.

    That and the fixed barrel. It does get rather warm after about 50 rounds. Also firing sequence does not matter. 1)Squeeze grip cocker, pull trigger; 2)Pull trigger and hold, squeeze grip cocker for each round; 3)Pull both at same time...goes bang each time.

    My friend actually has three of them and wants to sell me one. The ones he has do not have the European mag release on the trigger guard but on the side of the grip. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for yours? He is asking like $900.

    I bought my p7M8 in mid-90's for $1000. I've seen them priced as high as $1500 recently. If it's in good cond'n I'd jump at $900.
