Nice, you probably won't need another one, unless you get into the cowboy action shooting or something. You could probably pick up a long barrel for bird hunting.

I like the sidesaddle shell holder i added to the left side of mine's receiver.

If that's the style you wanted you really couldn't do any better. Especially for the money.

Nice looking gun. I use my gun for hunting mostly. And apparently a collapsible stock like that makes it a tactical wepon for "blood thirsty red necks who don't have enough brain cells" according to my best friends parents who shelter her from anything dangerous. Little do they know their little angel shoots that gun

    Good choice.

    Just practice with bird shot.:D

Seriously, a bit of clay bird shooting is good practice if you use a pump for defense.

99 percent of the malfunctions that I've seen on the range with pumps have been "short stroking." A couple of hundred clay birds, and you'll never short stroke your weapon. Plus, it's fun!:D

    2000 and Terry,

Great choice! The old 500 Series Mossbergs have stood the test of time as well as the Remington 870 Shotguns. They are fine weapons and you have done well! It will give you years of service with just a little care! And there is something about a pump guns slide racking that needs no explanation when it comes to the bad guys perception.:D
    Have Fun!
