Hey Folks,

Havent hung out here in a while.
I just finished my "Buget Savage" build

Here we go:
- Savage 10 action (Stevens 200)
- Comp Recoil Lug
- Choate Tactical stock
- Shilen Select Match Barrel (.223wylde SS Varmint)
- CDI Drop Mag System (AI mag)
- Millett TRS-1
- Tactical Bolt Knob
- some krylon

I know im forgetting some stuff here, but oh well. I will probably switch my scope to my new viper vortex 6.5-20x44. And add a kydex cheek rest, and some lower rings, but for now, i love it

Was not sure how it would shoot. I had my first chance to go to the range with it on Thursday. First loads I worked up shot like a dream....

I bet I can shrink them up once the barrel gets broken in and with playing around with my handloads.....

very nice indeed! nice looking rifle and especially for a first build. groups are very good and i am sure that with a little fine tuning they will look like one ragged hole shortly.

Good looking build.
Are you still running the stock trigger? If so,change it out with a SSS competition trigger and your groups will really shrink.It's a drop in trigger that is very adjustable,and user friendly.

If that trigger is too lite for you,they do make another model that is between 2-4lbs pull.
