I had my back fused and was bored as he!!. So my lovely wife for Christmas bought me a S&W stripped lower to tinker with while I wasn't working for 2 months. I used RRA lpk, and magpul ctr mil spec collapsible stock. I also got a stripped YHM upper. Need to get some more $$$ to keep going but here are some pics. Cant decide the best part, the fact that I learned how to put it together on YouTube, or that I only shot 1 detent into orbit!

Let me know what you think. I've been really impressed with YHM products and am going with their barrel and diamond hand guard. Good plan? Let me know, I've never even shot an AR before. I'm thinking of going with a spokes bcg.

My camera is giving me troubles, I will post more later.

I'm open to any suggestion. I've had a lot of fun learning this M4 and am excited to shoot it!

I already want to start another one dedicated to 6.8 spc! And an AR10..... The list goes on. I think I caught some kind of bank acount draining virus.

I went with the YHM diamond FF rail as well. Along with their barrel. I went with the 1:7 16". Be warned, it is a bit heavy but very accurate. I built mine more for hunting so weight is not too much of a factor. I am currently planning on building a light weight rifle now.

    Ryan...RLTW!

The lower really wasn't hard. I was able to do it while still in bed from my back fusion

Glad it's gone so well, Led. I love S&W stripped lowers and started my first build using one.

I agree! A billet lower for under 100$! You can't go wrong.

The one in the pic looks to be forged.

I have YHM diamond rails on my AR and I like em. Im sure theres better out there but Im happy with them. They feel a little heavier than some other rails, but I really dont mind it. Ive never used their barrels so I cant offer any experience there, sorry.

If you talked to the dealer and they told you it was it probably is.
