i have decided im going for the Glock 19. ive read and watched countless, upon countless reviews of the G19.

many things have factored into my decision; QUALITY, reliability, durability, simplicity, cheap ammo, and add-ons :D

ive already got an idea of the first upgrades im gonna make; ext slide release and truglo tfos are atop of the list.

it was a big decision imo. i originally wanted the PF9 for my CC. and i will eventually own one for that. but while i could, i wanted to scoop up the G19 1st.

theres a gun show or 2 in the coming weeks that ill check out, but im pretty sure i want to buy new. i plan on growing my collection as well. not being partial to one brand, because i love all guns. but i do plan on having at least 3-4 glocks before its all said and done.

ill post pics when i make that purchase, and in the mean time, keep shootin'

The G19 is a good and dependable pistol. You can't go wrong with it.

A G19 is a great gun for a beginner or an old pro. Take care of the gun, shoot countless rounds with it, and someday it make take care of you.

The 19 is a fine choice you will enjoy it. I havent made any changes to mine just kept it stock. Glocks are addicting I just got a 23 w/night sights last week. I will eventually upgrade the 19 to night sights but for now I'm saving for my 1911 so all my play money is tied up for a while. Have fun when you get it!

I have 2 G19's (2nd & 3rd gen). I think it is one of the best CCW guns one the market. Not too big, not too small. Have you ever handled or shot a PF9?I had one, wasn't impressed.

First time shooting at the range. The assembly pin face sheered off. I traded it away for a S&W 638-3 snubby. I like the snubby as a pocket gun, but I don't feel undergunned with the G19 like I do the snubby!

I like my G19. Only thing I changed was the guide rod/spring assembly. Put in a stainless one I got from Glockmeister. Trijicon sights are next.

well, sad news. i was thrown off my path to buying a 19 and was at the last gun show, i snagged up a baby eagle 40 in very good condition and had to get it.

so, the next show, hello G19

Sad, Hell that is good news. No Glock. You should enjoy that .40. Where's the pics?

That sucks man, I would have locked down the Glock first.. Oh well, the 19 is awesome but if you want to CC I would consider the 26. It hides better overall and you can easily add the G17 Mag with sleeve for your extra mags to provide a beter shooting grip.... Cheers!:D

Have you seen the S&W SW9VE, 9mm? It's pretty much the same gun. I owned one and sold it so I could buy a G19. After the deal was done I had buyers remorse almost instantly. I had sent my S&W back to them, on their dime, for trigger work and it worked great after that.
I'm not 100% sure but I think you can buy one for about $450 with a $50 rebate.
