I bought a dual drum tumbler from harbor freight and 5 lbs of stainless steel media midway (both on sale last week) here is a couple pics of my results.

Tomorrow I'm going to do one drum with once fired brass and the other with brass that has been through my dry tumbler just to see if there is a difference

How long did you tumble this brass for. I was always under the impression that the stainless steel media was to harsh for the brass. Looks like it cleaned it up pretty good.

It was the first time I did it, left it on for 3 1/2 hours

How do you separate the pins from the cases?

I've been curious about that stuff but always heard it was rough on brass. I'm very interested in how your tests work out.
