    We throw around the word HERO, to the point it has lost some of its meaning, sports stars,etc. First responders, LEOs, Soldiers, are my Hero's. Any FTF members that are, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE...and my prayers go out for these fallen Marines, and their families....

    If the Army and the Navy
    Ever look on Heaven’s scenes;
    They will find the streets are guarded
    By United States Marines.

    Having been the father of a young Marine its the call you pray that will never come. I can not imagine the pain those parents must endure.

    buddy of mine is in that unit. they're over there training for a trip to asscrackistan. supposed to leave in the very near future. it's a tragedy for sure. these guys preparing to go to war, face the enemy in far away lands...you know that men can and probably will die. It's part of the risk that all veterans accept.

    you don't expect it to happen when you're on domestic soil, where you're supposed to be safe.

    Semper Fi,

    and as those of us in the AF say when we lose our own...

    Here's a toast...
