You have two classic and quality revolvers there. And welcome here as well.
thanks. enjoying this forum lots. very informative.
Glad to have you here! 2 great revolvers you got there!
Indeed, thems some good looking classic wheelies son.
thanks igeteven. im looking to replace the grips on th 27 with some square butt targets. any suggestions will be highly appriciated on where to get some and also which kind, i dont care for the ivory grips. i won that gun on an online estate auction. got it for 700.00 including shipping and auction fees.
I was going to suggest check out the vendor section here and post there, but it looks like ya beat me to it. Check online also, various vendors online, Gunbrokers.com and others.
This may be blasphamy...but I'd love to slap on some hogues on those.
Yea that is blasphamy....
That is a sweet 586. I have one with a 6" barrel, target sights. They only go up in value. Stock grips add to the value so if you jiro-Zero out and put other grips on the pistols keep the stock ones in good condition. IMO if you can't rock the the orgainal grips you shouldn't own the pistol. Then again if you want "hogues" grips I'll buy you a set if you send me the real deal off the 586
I guess the 27-2 is the "girl"?
LOL thats hard to say mark. ill have to check under the frame. i just dont like the grips at all on the 27. to be honest they turn me off, have to get some good targets real fast
