He will lose an eye if one of those cap fragments hits him right.

    Caps do fragment.

    The pieces fly.

Not only do they slice the eyeball

    Coppermetal is poisonous

    Get the kid some glasses.

Am I the only one to read dgaf333's posts??????????? Hello?

I second the safety glasses. Kids should always be wearing glasses while shooting. I don't know about you, but I would feel bad if my kid hurt her eye while shooting my guns. Worst case scenario your kid has no eye rack up the med bills. All because of something that cost 20 bucks.

Glad to see you starting the kid early. I started my son very early too. My son is now 13 and can give me a run for my money.

+1 on the glasses. I wont let him shoot without them.
