    The optic is a centerpoint ar 22 3-9x32

    Very nice. Any idea what range you will be getting out of your set up? Just ask because I don't know much about the .17 but I hear it has better range then .22 does.

    Nice .17, Sage. I have one of the heavy barreled Savage 93 series.

    They are surprisingly accurate rifles, and hold their own to about 200 yards. The 17 grain polymer tip bullets DO get pushed around by wind very easily, but if you learn to read wind, that can be handled.

    I'm getting about 0.4 inch 5 shot goups off the bench at 100. Have a bit more glass on mine.

    The .17 hmr can kill a coyote at 150 yards but I've only hunted with it at 100 it can go to 300 and the bullet loses almost all of its energy after that
