    1. Know your weapons you carry and know how to use them.
    2. Know where you are going and how to get the hell out of there.
    3. Don’t go to known areas of trouble, unless you absolutely have to.
    4. Don’t mix alcohol and weapons, (Stay sober).
    5. Stay alert of your surroundings and people.
    6. Avoid all possible confrontations if possible, (If you cannot then shoot if necessary without hesitation).
    7. Never underestimate your appoint
    8. When driving make sure you can access your weapon easily.
    9. When driving I don’t listen to music, nor talk on a cell phone it is distracting.
    10. Walk with confidence, (most victims are so because they look lost, confused, or scared).

It has kept me alive this long although some people tend to think I been dead for a long time, I can assure them I am still kicking.

No argument here, but does this really belong in the survival forum?

If you ask me, your ability (or lack there of) is paramount to a individuals survival. Its a good a place as any unless we start a tactical portion on this forum. (thats not such a bad idea I dont think)

I agree with most of what you said, but I do listen to radio while driving, that's when I listen to conservative talk radio. When I am at a stop, I am aware of any possible car jackers even tho the radio is on, or is there a point I am missing?
    Good post BTW

Great post. I'll remember it. I also listen to the radio when I'm driving, but I'm constantly on the look out for unusual behavior around me.
    Constant vigilance!
