Boise, Nampa, Meridian, Caldwell is all a five minute drive from each other. Good parts and bad parts. If you piss off your neighbor, you have to remember he like's to shoot as well. We have wolves here, the strong will survive.

I would suspect that the gang activity of Idaho is substantially less than that of AZ ;)

Look around better the gangs in Boise are growing and the Mexican Cartels are recruiting these gangs for drug distribution trust me, if one thing I know the streets and have been researching all this.

you two have to be kidding right? Is this a replay of Vanilla Ice claiming he grew up in the hood?

don't get me wrong I won't discount your word that Idaho has some gang activity  but if you think you have it at the scale of a say someplace like Phoenix AZ or Miami FL or Forth Worth TX I would suggest you get in your car and take a road trip to those cities ;)

seriously guys, a few wannabe punks with their hats on sideways and their boxers showing doesn't constitute gang activity. You wanna see gang activity ... go to east LA CA, or Brockton MA, or the Bronx ... walk around ... at night ... you'll see what gang activity is!

Hey easy on the Vanilla Ice comment the burbs are tough...lol I don't know anything about ID but I grew up as a white guy in a black and Hispanic neighborhood in Miami. Life was fun growing up , I think you'll be okay in ID just look at the crime stats and pick the best area.

NYC starting busing in troubled and gang kids to our schools when I was in Junior High. They were punks ... each and every one ... even when they came in groups of 2,3,4 or 5 ... they were nothing but punks. Until people start to see armed gangbangers sitting on street corners in broad daylight than they will know nothing of gang related activity

Take a gangbanger out of the hood and into the wood and he is lost. Take a woodsman out of the wood and into the hood and he will survive

You are a big talker behind your computer online dog. Why don't you come to Idaho and see the gangs for yourself. Take a walk with me at night and you will come home with a new view of what you think gangs are.

As I look thru those photos I remember when most of those photo's hit the news. There is a pic of a cougar with his guts all hanging out that got killed by a pack of wolves (The Phantom Hill Pack ). That took place about two miles from where I live.

are you back on this again? Seriously? You are a member of the species that sits atop of the food chain ... with access to nearly any manner of firearms. If you do not feel safe in your area because of some wild animals, I suggest you move to the Moon.

Until wolves, bears, sharks, honey badgers start wielding firearms and wearing body armor I will not cower like a pansy at the sight of them

So I haven't posted here before I think, but I registered for something along time ago. Anyhow I came across this thread & it certainly made me lol..

Me & my wife moved to Idaho in late 2004.. There are NO GANGS to worry about for anyone who survived without a police escort in any large city. I grew up in North Las Vegas (Civic Center & Lake Meade for anyone familiar with Vegas). There we had gangs.. I have spent some time in Phoenix, San Francisco & San Diego as well.. They all also had gangs. In Idaho... There are no real gangs..

Also the whole wolf thing.. 8 Years up here playing in the woods & I have seen less then a half a dozen.. All of which were from a moving vehicle & only 2 of which were within 50 miles of a paved road. I have no Doubt they are around, but they are not a serious threat to people as of yet (emphasis on the word yet)..

Edit: now that I have posted I can see I have posted here before.. Apparently I have a short memory as its only been a year..

Idaho is a nice place to live. Phx., Az is a Hell Hole compared to Boise-Caldwell. Arizona has better gun laws than Idaho. In Idaho you will have to get a permit for your CCW. They do have a lot of these "Biker Gangs".:D
