Mossberg 100 ATR .308 questions

So, I have purchased my first firearm. It is the aforementioned. Does anyone have experience with this rifle and if so what sort of tweaks, mods, work should i do on it. Many of the reviews I have read mentioned polishing the bolt. Mostly to get rid of the ugly Mossberg label printed on it. Other than that the concerns were that the hollow stock artificially amplifies the perceived recoil and noise. Wood stocks are pretty cheap but one of the main reasons I chose the rifle was it's light weight design. It clocks in at 6.75 pounds (unloaded without bipod, optics or strap). I suppose this will be a "spit ball" thread. Throw out some thoughts! What should I do with this rifle?

You can start by just sending it to me. Those rifles are extremely dangerous. Don't worry, I'll provide the shipping. ;)

Go shoot it. Find out what you like and don't like. Then find out what you can do to fix the things you don't like, and enhance the things you do!
I have one and less than 100 rounds and my firing pin is bent the gun shoots really good for the price any clue wear I can buy another firing pin I don't want to send it back and wait 2 or 3 months to get it back
.308 for your first firearm? Gutsy! Most people start with a little .22 rifle.

Post us a pic or two & congratulations.

I don't own one of these, but i'm wondering if the void in the hollow stock could be filled with some spray foam or something.
