Don't mention it. If you'd waited 4 minutes, you'd have gotten twice as many responses.........
If you intend to shorten the barrel, you will need to adjust the sights. Being conversant in trigonometry will be a big help.

i would take it to a gunsmith so they can stamp the new length on the barrel otherwise if the law were to find out i beleive its a nice visit to a prison cell, just a heads up

WTF??? You actually have a law in Ohio that requires the length to be
stamped on the barrel??? Never heard of that before!

Barrel--minimum 16" under federal law, local laws may vary.

To shorten a barrel---take it to a good gunsmith with a lathe. Cutting it
off isn't difficult, but getting it squared off and crowned properly
is a job for the smith.
