In CT, an AR15 style rifle needs to have an adjustable stock pinned or epoxied to keep it from being adjustable. Any suggestions about how to undo the pin and the epoxy? I will not have the rifle in CT and might like to move the stock.

Why not just trade it for a 4 or 6 position stock? Or sell it?

Then a better question would be how do you remove the stock? I was just wondering if there was a quick trick to undo the epoxy or something.

To undo the stock you would normally depress the adjusting lever, in a pinned stock you would remove the lever pin. As for the epoxy, you may damage the stock and buffer tube trying to break the bond.

If the stock is epoxied to the buffer tube it might be better to just get a new buffer/stock assembly.
