On my brass round ups. Sometimes i find unfired ammo. The one round i found. Has MKE 19. Does anyone know if it's .556 or .223? I don't want to shoot it in my 223 bolt rifle if it's not .223. The other rounds i found are stamped .223.

Wow, it was made in 19? It is nearing 2001 years old.

    19 to 2020 = 2001. :p

223 is always stamped 223. 5.56 has letter and/or numerals from the manufacturer.
