    mseric,

If the police have the recording and if it is the facts of how it happened. What the H*** is the guy doing in the County Jail, is what I want to know. Can not believe it would take the Milwaukee Police Department that long to make a preliminary decision. They can always make an arrest later if the facts are different. Obviously he has been in the area for years and works there. As it is presented it definitely was a case of self defense. Bottom line being a retired LE vet if any one came at me with a Ball Bat teen or not they can plan on being shot without a doubt! The law applies! If someone is old enough to come at someone and start beating them with a ball bat, age is not even a deciding factor.
Guess we will have to wait to see if the facts are the facts as presented. I just can not see him in jail if it is!

If the guy with the ball bat had Skittles, the shooter is in a world of hurt....

They wont make that mistake again. Maybe some wanabe thug will learn from their mistake.

“He wasn’t a bad kid. It’s just — everybody makes bad decisions in their life. Things don’t go as planned. I wish the outcome would’ve been better,” Devonte Coleman, a friend of Bell’s said.

Amazing how laying a baseball bat to a guy on the ground does not = "A bad kid" in some Cultures.

I have a hard time considering those of ^^THIS^^ mindset Americans.

More like the paid for pets of the DNC.

how is that everytime some thug is killed when committing a crime, everyone gets on the bandwagon and trying to tell everyone that they had some bad breaks and were getting their life in order and so on, and so on........

until some people face up to the facts and reality and then have the sense to realize and say, well the boy made a bad choice and was breaking the law and got killed while he was doing it, then nothing is ever going to change.

"Family members and friends of the teens say they want to see the video before making any assumptions about what happened."

It sounds like this family isn't doing that. In most cases you're completely correct, but you gotta give this family some credit.

It's a culture thing Axxe.. Like "cross colors and Ebonics"... THIER champions at the DNC have been making excuses for the epic failure of THIER culture for 60
    Years

This culture does not like armed law abiding citizens because their is no special treatment from a bullet and no parole from death.

THIER "disadvantaged" status can provide no reprieve from the armed citizen.

Haven't posted this up as no info has really been released. No one but police have seen the video.

All we know is white guy getting beat with a bat by three of crack mom's little snowflakes two end up dead somehow

Speculation here is everything from drug deal going wrong to someone making half white babies and getting a racial beat down with a bat to two of the darlings getting shot fleeing. No one knows the details.

The guy was relesed last week no charges filed yet.

Two other facts chief flynn is a rabid anti-american socialist with communist leanings and mayor barret is further left than him...

Flynn is a disgrace to police everywhere as he was maybe still is romantically involved with a reporter for some news channel who always did amazingly positive reviews of him while flynn was married to someone else. This was his first few years as chief in milwaukee. He was also investigated several times by some news agencies through open records requuests and was discovered to be intentionally ignoring and deleting or downgrading police reports in order to promote his own image of lowering crime in milwaukee. Since he is a rabid anti gunner and solid supporter of barret no attempt has been made to remove him by barret. He is about as corrupt a cop as has ever existed.

I try to spend as little time as possible in his jurisdiction as a ccw holder your freedom is at stake anytime you make contact with police for any reason while carrying in milwaukee. When we first got ccw he gave orders to draw down on any person found in milwaukee with a ccw permit.

I'm not surprised he had the victim arrested

I think the police are doing what they have to do, investigating what happened. They can't just take someone's word on what way it went down. Talk to witnesses , check video if there is any , checking ballistics. If someone beat a gun owner to death, and said it was in self defence because he thought he was going to shoot him. Most on this forum would want it investigated. The police have to be seen to, and act impartially.

The 5th Amendment to the US Constitution says:
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Due process means that when you have sufficient probable cause to convince an impartial magistrate that THIS person committed THIS crime, you may arrest and charge him. While he has now been released from custody, he was held in jail for 3 days on SUSPICION of committing a crime. In general, you may detain him for investigation- but arrest? Not without probable cause.

If two little punks attack you with a bat then you could draw and quarter them and it would be justified.

It clearly says in th article the reason he is in jail is because he has not made a statement yet and self defense can't be considered till a statement is made. I dont see any charges being filed against him whenever he decides to talk.

If you shoot someone and refuse to give a statement of course you will go to jail untill you do, thats just common sense.
