USMC '76-'88 Finished last tour with 3rdBN Camp Schawb, Okinawa. A vacation compared to my son who is leaving LeJeune in 2 weeks for Iraq. My avatar is actually his pic, not mine. I vowed to keep it posted until he comes home.

I just signed up for the Army National Guard the other day. I go on Monday the 19th to Indianapolis to take the entry test and my pyshical. I'm still trying to decide between Infantry and Cav. Scout. The recruiter told me straight up that I'll probably go to Iraq within my first year. I'm nervous and excited at the same time.
