In basic, we were shipped, at times, in cattle cars.

Our one act of defiance, since the Drills didn't ride in them, was to bust out the Sharpie, and rep your hometown by scrawling THE radio station on the walls of the car. Blank Rocks Austin, Blank, the Soul of Philly, etc.

Vandalism, for sure, but oddly comforting to see that somebody from your home went through Hell, too.

Welcome to the FTF cattlecar. Rep your city and the best radio station.

Not exactly what I listen to the most anymore...but if you've been around the area in the last 30+ years you probably have seen one of these

Im not real station loyal. I flip to 105.9, 102.5, 94.9country
Some talk on 104.7 and talk sports on the new 93.7 depending on mood.
I like the tunes on 100.1 CLG in morgantown when I'm close to home

I tend to stick to 96.9 The Kat (WKKTFM) in Charlotte, and sometimes I flip between that one and 103.7 WSOC. It's funny because 96.9 plays the "family friendly" versions of all songs, so the song "Toes" by Zac Brown Band on 96.9 goes something like: "Got my toes in the water, my toes in the sand" instead of "Got my toes in the water, *** in the sand." It amuses me.
