If any of you are on Facebook you might check this out, seems to be a heated discussion going on at the page of this New York Senator who is pushing the micro stamping issue.

Most of the comments basically call the senator an idiot for the stupidity he's proposing, not to mention his lack of understanding of the "guts" of a hand gun...among other things.

Yep, Peralta is your typical ultral liberal, criminal coddling, anti-self defense political hack. A US company developed this micro-stamping trash. They are trying to peddle their snake oil all over the US. So far they have had some success on the left coast and in the NE demokratic republiks of the US.

BTW: If they get micro-stamping on new guns the next move is to have older guns micro-stamped, at the owners expense, of course.

They already do micro stamping guys. All new firing pins have micro stamped codes on them. They transfer a 3 part code to the primer upon firing and can only be seen with an electron microscope.
It's also likely that all polymer framed guns have rfid's although I haven't seen the paperwork to prove that one.

Didn't seem like so much of a discussion as it was 45 people telling him what an idiot he is...

this reminds me of the woman who said "i've talked to people who have been shot by an unloaded gun"

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHsX7STHqNg[/ame]

These people aren't insane. they're not stupid. But they KNOW their constituents are, and they're playing into that stupidity by fear mongering and trolling.

It's a sad state of affairs when a large enough group of willfully idiotic Americans can all live in the same area to the point of electing someone like this Senator from NYC.

It's probably a ploy to run firearms manufacturers out of NYC. But I know 49 other states that would LOVE to have an HQ like Kimber based in their borders.

just found this response video in reference to the idiot woman in the one above. Love it

I'm not saying he didn't, but i've learned first hand that people who "like" his page can also have your comments removed if enough of them mark it as "spam" or hateful rhetoric.

Facebook wants you to talk about Unicorns and Utopia, not reality and how stupid a senator from NYC really can be.

Wonder what his reaction would be if all democratic elected officials were forced to register their dna.

I will use their logic to demonstrate:

We as understanding intelligent people educated in our public schools all know women and children are being raped everyday in our country/state/city and since democrats are the ones who promote free sex free birth control free porn on tv and all those things they are more likely to rape. So in the interest of public safety all democrats must submit a dna sample for tracking purposes. It will make tracking down a rapist so much easier if all democrats have their dna microstamped

this guy is a jacka#$. The micro stamp on the firing pin is about .005 deep. polish it off. He doesn't even know what a breach face is.

He's one of many that suck up to Bloomberg so they get his endorsement and financial backing.

and this is exactly why we can't set on our asses when it comes time to vote.

They approach their gun-hating bills as strongly and with as much conviction as WE do for our pro-freedom bills.

The difference is, in recent history anyways, their side seems to get off their duffs a little more and make it to the polls.

As a result, we get the likes of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama...oh, and the idiot senator in this thread.
