new to the firearm thing, just shot skeet for the first time and loved it, looking for info on purchasing an over under 12 gauge

Welcome. If you want to look at over and unders that won't break the bank check out the Yildiz. Academy is the only place to get them though. They have a 12 and 20 for $399 that looks very nice, and everyone seems to like them alot. I bought a 20ga after Thanksgiving, but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

What price range are you looking in? An O/U is a "heritage piece" that you will eventually pass down; would take that into consideration when choosing. Welcome to the sport, enjoy and pass it on.
