He had Mongolian ancestry, his first two languages were European, he learned English in grad school, and he went on to become a top gun slinging movie star

Visualize him, and you will know! It is an interesting story. I did wiki-proof it a little, or else it's too easy!

Haven't seen that one. I know its a spy movie.

Two more cowboys still at large! Hint: one is living. Take a shot, no harm in it! :)

Born Kevin Joseph (Chuck) Connors, April 10, 1921, Brooklyn, New York.

While some are of the opinion that Brooklyn is another country, I think he qualifies as an alien because he was successful as a basketball player, baseball ball player, 'labor negotiator' and actor. But I don't think he's who Mercator has in mind.

Chuck played a heavy in 'The Big Country' (Romeo & Juliet with cowboy hats). I think one of the best horse operas ever. He really made me despise him the first time I saw it, and I knew he was a FICTIONAL character! I think he was an underrated actor.

Close! I did not know Eli Wallach was still living. I was thinking of another good one, like Palance, Bronson, and Brynner, who was born with a long spelling-bee name... You are hot on the trail.............................................

Wallach was also born in B'klyn. Eastwood was born in San Fransisco.
