I have just picked up a Mendi 50 cal cap lock in trade. It has a 33 inch barrel and a full stock. Is anyone familiar with this gun? I can find nothing about it on line and have no idea where it was made or by who. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It was made in Spain. They're ok shooters but not worth much.

I gave the gun a good cleaning and tried it out. Using Eighty grains of RS and PRBs I was able to hold two inch three shot groups at 75 yards. In that all I had in what I traded for the gun was twenty bucks I think I made out on the deal.. The bore is in good condition and the only rust I can find is around the nipple that wont take much to clean up. I will most likely refinish the stock, quite a few dings and scratches, and just use it for target practice and plinking. Does anyone know who imported these guns and who marketed them and when?
