Here's my Mav 88. I think its a perfect amount of tacticool.
Nice gun, I'm in the market for a tactical myself.
Minus the birdshot in your saddle
Looks good. Aside from the birdshot. But we'll work on that later. Baby steps
lol it is what it is I don't have anything else to put in there just some leftover shot from shooting clays the other day
Oh gawd... I've had failure to eject issues with this shotgun and sold mine. I'm saving up to actually get a 500. Is it just me? Or is it the workmanship of this boomstick crap.... they should be virtually the same in reliability right?
The 500 and 88 are pretty much the same, and there will always be that 1 out of 10000 that are lemons.
Fte? In a pump shotgun? Either something to do with the extractors or operator error. Too bad you already sold it, woulda been a quick, inexpensive fix.
Must have been the extractors, I've fired 3 other 500s with no problems.
What ammo were you using when you had the FTE's? It wouldn't happen to be winchester would it?
Theres 870s then theres everything else......just saying.
Yes, I was using 2 3/4 buckshot & slugs, 3 inch buckshot, Remington 2 3/4, and Federal game loads.
I'm really thinking it might have been the extractors that phildenton mentioned. Those same rounds worked very well with a 500 Persuader.
I own an mavrick 88 also with no flaws whatsoever i also have a mossy 535 which is just the magnum version of the 500 and the mavrick and mossy shoot and function almist identical i love them both
