Mauser .22 LR

    Since everyone was so helpful with my old shotgun my father wanted me to ask about this .22 of my grandfather's as well. He was curious how old it was and what it might be worth.

    You really need to go to someone that would specalize in pre WW2 german arms. Ask at Gunboards, and go up from there. Robert at K98k.com may be able to help.

    Interesting old 22.
    To me it would have such nostalgic value I wouldn't care what it is worth. Priceless.

    Thanks, I'll give that a try.

    Yeah, just curious. We'll never sell it. Especially since it's not marked as "made in German." Which I've found means it wasn't imported here. My guess is, someone brought it back after WWII.

    It would be so cool to know the complete story about this gun. All I know is that my grandfather traded a fishing pole for it. :D
