Got the house to myself tonight, so I stopped and got an honest 2" thick N.Y. strip. I roasted some new potatoes and onions with lemon, and sauteed mushrooms and onions (after a couple of scotches, I forgot the veg.). Grilled the dead cow 2 min. a side. Mooo. Nothing like tucking into a raw piece of beef on a Friday night. Let the mastication begin!
