i came accross a old pump 22 cal rifle all it says on it is "the marlin corperation" 22sl or 22lr on the back end of the reciever it says "no. 29" i have searched every where i can think of to find out more about this gun. any leads would help. would the 29 be the model or serial # of course the gun is to old to be on thier web site. thank you for your time

The model 29 was a takeoff of the more common model 20. Should be able to find a lot more info about the model 20 that is interchangeable with the 29.
