I picked it up for a beater/ spare .22. It bends the bullet in the case, or the bullet nosedives before entering the action. When it does feed right it sometimes gets a sticky feeling and won't fully go into battery, with a light primer strike. Tube feed spring is strong. Also it leaves the last one or two rounds in the tube, they don't wanna enter the action.

I know, I know, clean it. I took it off the stock, sprayed brakleen, and blew it with compressed air. Did this 5 times.

So, is there a spring that pushes the next available round up into the action? Do I need to disassemble it more for cleaning? Or should I take it back to the tableholder at the gun show and tell the liar (it feeds fine!) where to stick it.
