If they are they can fall right into my safe!!!

Me thinks it's got something to do with .22 ammo availability...

i think Vincent is on the right track. maybe a lot of people can't get ammo for them, they think why keep a firearm they can't shoot.

I am just guessing on my part. But with 22 long rifle ammo hard to find and outrageous prices I would think prices on the guns themselves would drop bad.

I have a model 60 myself, and it is a very accurate rifle. It's a good target and varmint gun.

Still love mine. It has become a bit picky with ammo. I stopped shooting Winchester and Remington out of it

I love mine too, have half the finish worn off, shot about a million rounds through it and it still shoots straight as a string.

Jim, i have no idea as to how many have been through mine, as it was very well used when i bought it about two years ago. i refinished the wood and metal on mine, bought some of the grooved scope rings and mounted a cheap 3-9x40 scope i already had, and still have less that $100 in it. i have put in excess of 3000 rounds through mine since i have had it, and it still is one accurate little rifle. mine also has the 18 round tube and the 21" barrel and no LSHO feature, and also has the Marlin-Glenfield rollmark. great little rifle and pure pleasure to shoot.
