For about 100$, the best you're going to get would be a quality fixed 4x scope such as Nikon, Weaver, or Pentax. If you need more than 4x when actually hunting, you're too far away to be shooting at that deer with a 30-30 in the 1st place. Don't make the mistake of trading optical quality for more magnification.
I'm a novice who bought a Marlin 30s today. It lacks a scope and I would like to know which to get for $100 or so. Help appreciated.
