How's your eye relief? I'm running iron sights and I think a scope, even with low rings would have me pulling my cheek up off the stock to see properly.

its could be better, but its not bad. i had a higher set of rings and that didnt work. figured i would try the low profile mount... i stumbled onto it. i think its going to be good as long as the rifle shoots well

I guess the real problem is that they build them to be short. Impossible to shoot properly at the bench. For me anyway. But that's part of the role this rifle serves. Short and handy. I love it! :)

Nice build. In the process of finishing mine. Same rifle, but a Boyds stock, bsa sweet 22 scope and I am ordering a bipod this weekend.

I think the Marlin 60's are some of the best looking rimfire autoloaders out there!

That is the Woodland laminate. I have an old .22 Special 3-9x32mm BSA on mine Great little combo. My son has a Bushnell 4x32 on his Winchester 190. Really nice for squirrels and plinking.

Thanks for the compliments. The stock is actually called forest camo. It wasn't actually my first choice. My first choice was the pepper laminate, but it was out of stock when I placed my order. But this one looks better in person than I thought it would. I just wish it was easier to swap out barrels for a longer one to make it look more proportional. I ordered the last piece of the puzzle today, the bipod should be here in a few days. Hopefully now it will shoot as good as it looks. I've got to say though that all the 60's in this thread look great.
