Have you checked out the Nexus range? I believe that's in Broward County.

You are correct. Mark ham IS an outdoor range. 100 yards. I think it was $10 or $15. Take your own cardboard.

I live 5 minutes from Markham. It is a county run facility hence they are very strict on the rules. Which is a good thing, although kind of annoying. They will kick you out! Don't show up to the range with a loaded weapon, personally seen them kick a guy out when the RO did the initial safety check. No rapid fire, 1 shoot every 5 seconds...you can get away with shooting a little faster but not much. you have to walk your targets out to the yard lines, 15 yrds is the closest the let you set em up. It is hot, outside. I haven't been in a few months, but when I do go it is on 4th tuesday nights with the club Tropical Sport Shooting Asso. All in all nice place.

If you are looking for a real nice indoor place i highly suggest Nexus, Davie rd and 595 across from the cemetery.

I've been to Nexus. It is a very good place to shoot. State of the art. And when you go there, say "hi" to Cane for me.

Re Markham park, I'm a resident in Florida and use the range often, I need to disagree with the poster regarding very annoying on them being strict on the rules, they explain em to you B4 you begin you know exactly what to expect from the range personnel. They are friendly and helpful people and out of all the ranges i frequent Markham is the safest best run making a more relaxed enjoyable experience ....
