I recently received a MAK-90 that my father-in-law has had locked up for 15 years or so.

This is what the stock-end of my AK looks like[IMG]:
    Sorry its small.

What are my options for stocks on this gun? I want a side folding stock, not a wooden ironwood stock.

    Help me out guys!

    Thanks

This is what I did on my Mak. Removed the stock, and upper and
lower fore stocks. Put TAPCO on plastic folding set (comes with hand grip).
Also replaced firecontrol group with the TAPCO G2 single hook parts.
I dumped the shepard's hook and put in a retaining plate. It is now
lighter and, for me, more functional. I added a USA muzzle device.
    It is 922 compliant. :D

I would hightly recomend an Ace AK Skeleton Stock from DSA. Top quality. A retaining plate to replace the shepords crook. Some lower handguard with heat shield from a KVAR. Just my liking but I recomend a Ultimack upper gass tube. It gives you some where to mount a red dot or forward scope and is rock solid and wont move on you. Realy good for under folders. Depending on the red dot you use it can also let you co witnees your iron sights. THATS A BIG ++++ As for trigers a Red Star adjustable will do the trick. Pre travel over travel. Nice clean crisp.. Those are my recomendations. Hope you like

While the other guys are trying to be helpful, you need to not jump the gun. By this I mean you need to confirm that you have a stamped/milled square cut or angle cut receiver. If you have the angle cut, as I do, then the only option is Ironwood. The options listed by our other members WILL NOT FIT YOUR WEAPON! Remove the butthole stock and check your receiver! If it is square cut, you are in business!
