Anyone use one or both? A LGS has some magtech's for .38 a round in .45 allthough i hear about this walmart federal ammo being good and cheap as well but i cant find it any where near me, whats the price and quality on this stuff?

I run federal through my 1911 don't rember how much I paid gotta ask my fiance when she get back from work..she keeps track of that stuff

I been buying the federal ammo at my walmart here in indiana. It's $17.89 a box plus tax of course, a friend of mine work there and buys it for me. She gets 10 percent off everything but grociers.

I didn't know thay sold it at wallmart...maybe I need to switch

Federal Champion 45 is $17.47 for a box of 50 at my local Walmart. Works flawlessly in my 1911. I have fired a few Magtech 380s in my Bodyguard 380 without any issues. I bought the Magtech at a LGS but I don't remember what I paid. The guy at Walmart says the Federal leaves as fast as they receive it. When I find it, I buy 3-4 boxes. I have about 9 boxes each in 45 and 9mm. My advice would to buy all you can when it is in stock. I have a buddy that shoots 40 cal and we keep an eye open for each other. I have picked up several 100 round boxes of the Federal Champion 40 cal at Walmart for about $27 for him. His reports are the same as mine. It can't be beat for the price.
