Something strange happened to me at the range today. I took my CZ75 and before shooting I switched the factory plastic grips for some very nice Pau Ferro wood ones my girlfriend got me as a gift. I then proceeded to shoot the tightest group of my short handgunning career.
I tried some rapid fire and got another brilliant (by my standards) group, I tried firing with one hand (both strong and weak hand) and got excellent results as well. It was like I just couldn't miss, my trigger pull was well executed, breathing and sight picture seemed easier than ever before.
Of course, my instructor wants to take credit for this, he insisted on the importance of my daily dry fire practice and stuff like that. I still think it's all about the new grips. My girlfriend doesn't know which end of a gun to point towards a target, but she sure can pick accesories!
