Is the 15 round magazine the biggest magazine for a m1911 or is there longer extended magazines
Not to be a smartass but, why on earth would you need that many rounds in a 1911?
Ask the manufacturers, they produced it so it should be made for some kinda purpose, i just want to know if there is a magazine for a 1911 that exceeds only 15 rounds
IIRC, there were attempts to make a 30 round "snail" type.
IMO, anything that holds more than 8 .45ACP in a single stack is an attempt to get money from those who do not know better.
This is it, it holds 25 rounds and jams after every shot pretty much, I tried to modify it to work in my 220 which I did. The flaw in the design is in the follower. When the slide goes forward, it pushes the round down instead of into the chamber.
What brand magazine is that? It just looks like it would be ummm..... different to shoot.
Thanks, i looked it up on google but the ones i looked at didnt look the same as the one posted.
Them geese are getting faster all the time !!
There have been larger magazine for years- the first i saw was made for use from the cockpit of an open biplane in WW 1, before they started putting machineguns on airplanes.
Like most of the later Uber Mags, it did not work worth a crap, and was awkward.
Yeah its a Pro Mag. It a decent mag just the follower isn't worth a f@&$
Same reason he wants 700gr boolets for a 500 S&W & loud as possible?
Bad case of BGS (Big Gun Syndrome)
Virgil Tripp would never build a POS like that snail magazine.
Thats easy, zombie's!
Plus I hate magazine changes...........lol.
Was wonderin about that
