Mag primers for 38 special

As wondering if it was even possible to use small mag pistol primers in a 38 special load? I have about a 1000 of them. And nothing to load them in. Can u just reduce the Max load or min load and it will work?

Can they be used in a 9mm??

Yes you can but it will change the pressure of the load. Might or might not have to do any other changes.
Yes you can. I use mag primers in everything I load. I do not use max charges though.
CCI mag primers are HARD! You may have issues with a .38 Spl revolver reliably setting them off. Otherwise they can be used in any small pistol application, just work up a new load as pressures will be different
I use magnums in everything. You will need to change your powder charge, but it will actually DRAMATICALLY improve your groups.
Do u reload 9mm using a mag primer as well!??
Yes. Between me and my paw in law, 9mm, .38, .357 Sig and mag, .40, and they all get mags.
Yup, drop your loads 10%, work back up from the starting loads.

Smokeyloads
I don't like 'em, but you can use 'em.
