What's a good scope for my m48 8mm
Is it drilled and tapped on the receiver for scope mounts and the bolt handle altered for a low scope, or are you going to put a long eye relief mount on the rear sight base? I have a Yugo M48 8mm that I am having the receiver drilled and tapped for scope bases. I am putting an old Kassnar fixed 4x on it. So, I suppose that any scope you like would be ok.
No it's just all stock right now. I prefer not to have anything drilled. It's a nice higher grade rifle. Not one of the cheaper ones that are all over the place.
Someone makes a scout mount that replaces the rear sight. Google is your friend.
Although, I find my m48 to be exceptionally accurate with the iron sights. Easy enough to take deer at 200 yards.
Then you have no choice other than to go with a combo like will posted. Also, please note that you choices of scopes will be limited.
I'm sure my rifle is capable of taking a deer at 200 yards; maybe with your young eyes, but not with my old ones.
