M14rocks you have to many you should send the last one to me with plenty of ammo. I will hold on to it and not shoot it too much...... very nice collection.

I get the one with the natural wood stock.

    Always like the classics.

Buying M14's has become a bit of a sickness. Ha.

I just picked up another one, so pics will be posted when it arrives. I have a couple more but they are in a safe that is hard to access due to stuff being piled on top.

You (and everyone here) are welcome to come out and shoot any of them if you are ever in the SoCal area. I put on shoots for the M14 Forum at one of our local rifle ranges (out to 650 yards) every couple of months. It is a great way to get to know local M14 owners. And it is not limited to M14's, they are just the excuse to get together. Ha.

When and where for the next shoot? Or when do you head out to the Mojave? I would love to try the M14. I think a ROATS (reach out and touch someone) rifle is the next choice for me.

You have good taste. That is a 1989 vintage Springfield Armory receiver that was built into this rifle by Ronnie Morris in 89. It is a National Match, built using all NIW (New In Wrap) USGI parts. It is an outstanding shooter, and has a lot of sentimental value to me.

Whats the deal with your scope mount? It looks like you have 25MOA bases on backwards.

Nope. I think its the bed+blanket combo that makes it look all jacked up. Anyway, it hits out to 600 yds easy.

Mounted it the same way we did in the Army.

Another M1A (all USGI parts) on top, and a custom built M14 Tanker using a M14S Norinco rec, Criterion chrome lined 18.5in bbl, and a mix of USGI/SEI/Sadlak/OEM parts.
