The production of the M1 Carbine is a remarkable story of US manufacturing prowess. The M1 Carbine went from drawing board to 6 million carbines produced in 36 months.

How many of you have, and love, the M1 Carbine? It's by far one of my most favorite guns to shoot. It is remarkable light, and easy to shoot, and a real joy to maintain. Just wish the ammo was a bit less expensive. [I know, I should reload!].

    Here's a video I made of my 1944 Inland, WWII era M1.

Ya just gotta like the little carbine.

My old Winchester has been my kids & grandkids first "high power" rifle when I switched them up from .22lr.

I've got a National Postal Meter M1 carbine, one of my favorite rifles and also my go-to gun for any local trouble.

I fell into a Plainfield and it is by far my favorite long gun to shoot. Accurate to a fault, reliable. I just plain love to shoot it.

Now, as was said, if ammo wasn't such an expense.

I hear that, about the best I can do on brass cased is around 33 cents per.
