I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with both the original Performance Center Shield in 9mm and the newer M2.0 Shield in 9mm. I realize the M2.0 doesn’t feature the porting or fiber optic sights but I’m curious if the triggers are similar or if one outperforms the other. Thanks in advance for any help!

I can't speak about the Performance Center Shield, but I recently bought the 2.0 (9 mm) and it has an amazing trigger on it. and Mine has the night sights from the factory. I must confess though, I am not a fan of striker fire weapons. I just don't like the trigger pull on them. A co-worker bought the 2.0 and wore it to work. I felt the trigger on it and was immediately sold it. (If that helps you)
I know its not what you were asking, but I hope it helps you somehow. I don't think you could go wrong with either of them. Good luck Mi Amigo.

Funny, I am in a similar situation. I can purchase a gently used Performance Center in 9mm w/ an extra mag and IWB for $400, or a new 2.0 w/ the green laser from a local dealer for $419. I really like the stippling of the my 2.0 full size compared the the less aggressive stippling of the original model, and it almost seems as though both Shield models mentioned have the same trigger. Just wondering if that is the case, and other than the porting and the night sights on the PC model, what other differences there are.
