The wife wants a rifle but doesn't like larger calibers. Was lookin at the m&p15-22. Anyone have one, likes/dislikes? Good .22?
Really, that surprises me. The only ones left around here are the Magpul versions.TerminalE3 said:Really? I found about seven here at different stores yesterday. Even at walmart
It just has the magpul accessories on it.TerminalE3 said:What are those, just a different brand or different version of the 15-22?
they are OK, much better than the .22 M-4 lookalike with the colt name on it. The only advantage I can see to the Colt is that it will accept AR components(except for the receiver/barrel). My friend had the S&W and he had less problems shooting it than my Colt,(the Colt copy is extremely fussy about ammo, you have to adjust the recoil spring to the power of the .22 rounds, and dirty) but he ended up buying mine off of me because of all the stuff I had hung it, scope, laser-sight, flashlight, folding flat top sights, It looks just like the real deal (boys and their toys) He is more of a collector than a hard-corps shooterThe wife wants a rifle but doesn't like larger calibers.
