Does anyone know how much m-1 30-06 is worth
You need to give more info.
To give you an idea go to Cabela's web page. I think it is www.cabelas.com In the top left is a search box. Hit the down arrow and choose Gun Library. It will have a searchbox in the center. Enter M1 Garand and search. They list a number of M1's and the pertinent info needed for pricing and prices. You will learn what some of the necessary info. that is needed to value a firearm.
Then make your post cause these folks know their stuff.
With the information given, I'd ballpark it at $500-$3500 , seriously, we need a lot more to go on...
BTW, stop by the introductions section and tell us a little about yourself.
Who made it?? You could have a buyer right here.....
Your question is equal to "I have a Ford car. It is blue and has a V-8. What's it worth?"
Values will depend on maker, condition, and originality. If you go to the website for the CMP, you can learn a bit about different grades of rifles. It is possible for prices to be all over the place, depending on is it an original, with all matching parts, in very good condition, or is it a rewelded Frankengun with a mongrel dog's heritage, and worn out.
It says USA and its made out of walnut stock and Heavy
The rear of the reciever should read:
U.S. rifle caliber .30 M1
The blank part will be the maker.
These are the markings on an M1 Garand. See the maker's name?
Sorry but Cabelas is not a good source of pricing Garands
Need alot more info than just the maker to give a accurate estimate
Need detailed pictures, also need serial number, and to break the rifle down and record all the drawing numbers on each part .
Need to list anything that is stamped on stock, alos look to see if there is any Import Stamps (usually on the barrel by muzzle)
Need to know overall condition along with muzzle ,throat wear measurements
