wife and i enjoy scifi a lot. went to go see this and if you like good 1960's era style scifi stories this is along the lines of something heinlein might have written. very very very well done scifi flick.

its on my must buy dvd list

I'm a Heinlein fan, so that endorsement makes the movie more appealing to me.

Thanks for the mini Review. R.A.H. Was a Master. An uncle of mine taught many subjects at the UnderGrad and Glad College level and got to meet him once at a Writers Guild conference.

my only complaint would have to be, they could have added about 30 more minutes allowing the lucy character more introspection of what was happening.

in one scene they did it well with internal dialogue then its like they cut the rest of those pieces from the film if they existed.

but, that being said its a great scifi flick in a wasteland of movies in the last decade

Understood. Did you know he co wrote about 5 of the Orig. Star Trek episodes with Roddenbury?
One was the 2 part "Tribbles" arc,...

ya. i love the original star trek

uhhhh no... there is a difference between bad movies being good by accident, and those are real gems, and those when you set out to do that artificially, it shows.

Boy that's the truth! When you think back to the intelligent classic SciFi before plots got swept out the door to add more cheesy special effects.

I'm praying Jurassic World next year is done right.

My biggest gripe is that in many of the newer ones, they blare the background music so damn loud that you can't hear the dialogue.:(
