I am looking for a AR lower parts kit. At this point I don't care who makes it as long as its a complete kit and not crazy priced. I have 2 stripped lowers and would like to build one of out. Everywhere I've seen is sold out so I figured I'd hit up this great resource to find one.

Palmetto State Armory has LPK in stock that includes Magpul buttstock and buffer tube, mil spec too for $199. High, but not that high when you figure all you get, Magpul trigger guard and pistol grip. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago and got it today. Very happy with what I got and price.

You have 3 options IMHO:

1. Keep looking until you get lucky and find one at a decent price.

2. Find one and pay through the nose for it.

3. Wait out the ban talks (doubtful it will pass) and pick some up when prices level back off.

Some vendors at gunshows have the little parts like springs, detents, etc. you can buy separately. Just get a list of what's in an LPK and buy the parts individually. It comes out to be a tiny bit more than what a regular LPK without the price gouging is going for. Then you can pick your trigger and pistol grip without having to have an extra pistol grip and trigger group that you didn't really want.

A majority of those little parts run like .95 - 1.50 each.
