Title says it all. I don't need a lot, 100 or 200 pieces would be enough. I just want to play with it a little bit.

Do you have any .44mag? If you do maybe trim it down a little.
    Just a thought.
I would offer my .44mag brass, But I have just started collecting it myself
    Good luck

I've got at least 1000 44mag brass. I know I could trim it but I don't like that idea. It's far to easy to trim some and get a trimmed piece mixed in with the rest and get an overcharged round.

How would that be any different than having .44 special or .44 Magnum brass sitting around?

The 44 special brass is marked as such and my wife has the brains in the house. Still can't figure out why she married my dumb a$$.

A reduced load in a Magnum case can be more accurate as it has less distance to jump before reaching the forcing cone. If you already have that much Mag brass, use it.

I use a colored magic marker to mark the bases of non-standard ammo.

I found a guy local who is going to give me around 100 pieces for $10 so I'll play with those. I didn't buy my magnums to shoot specialsbut since I can I figured I'd give it a try.
